In the properties window:

1. Do not try to type the icon file name.
2. Instead, click the "ellipsis" (the three dots) to the right of the Icon property. 
   
   A "Load Icon" dialog box will open.  You will see that you are in the Vb98 folder.
3. Click the "Up one level" icon to the right of "Vb98".
   
4. Open the Common folder.
   
5. Open the Graphics folder.
   
6. Open the Icons folder.
   
   • You will then see 13 folders whose names are categories of icons.
     
   • Open any one of these folders and you will see the icons that are available for Visual Basic.
   • Select any one of these icons.
   • The icon you choose will appear on your form.
   • If you change your mind later, you may return to the icon folders and choose a different one.
